How a metallic floor is made
After grinding and a primer coat, we pour epoxy mixed with metallic pigment and work it by hand while it is still wet. The pigment settles into swirls, veins and pools of color that catch the light from every angle.
A clear topcoat locks in the pattern and gives the floor a deep gloss. Because the pattern is made by hand, no two metallic floors look the same.
Metallic floors are smoother than flake floors. If yours will get wet often, we can add an anti-slip additive to the topcoat.
