Flake epoxy floors

A flake floor is a base coat of epoxy covered edge to edge with colored vinyl flakes, then sealed with a clear topcoat. It hides dust, tire marks and small imperfections, and the texture gives good grip when wet.

It is the most popular choice for garages, and it comes in 24 colors.

Metallic epoxy floors

Metallic floors use pigmented epoxy that we move by hand while it is wet. The result is a high-gloss floor with depth and movement that looks like stone or flowing liquid.

Every metallic floor is one of a kind. They are popular in show garages and anywhere you want the floor to be the first thing people notice.

Patio coatings

Outdoor concrete needs a different system than a garage. Standard epoxy can yellow in direct Texas sun, so on patios and porches we use a UV-stable polyaspartic coating.

It seals the concrete against stains and water, and you can choose a flake finish to match your garage. Patios get the same grinding prep and the same 5-year warranty.

Good for

  • Back patios and covered porches
  • Pool-side concrete that needs grip
  • Faded, stained or cracked outdoor slabs

Our process

Most garages take two days. You can walk on the floor after 24 hours and park on it after 48 to 72.

  1. Diamond grind the concrete

We grind the whole slab with a diamond grinder. This removes old sealer, stains and the weak top layer, and opens the concrete so the coating bonds into it.

  2. Repair cracks and pits

Cracks, chips and spalled spots get filled and ground flush, so they don’t show through the finished floor.

  3. Base coat

A high-solids epoxy base coat goes down over the whole floor and up the wall as a cove base if you want one.

  4. Flake or metallic layer

For flake floors we broadcast flake to full coverage. For metallic floors we work the pigment by hand to create the swirl pattern.

  5. UV-stable topcoat

A clear polyaspartic topcoat seals everything in. It resists hot tires, oil and chemicals, and won’t yellow in the sun.
